Local media to hold joint telethon to raise funds for Gaza

A group of local broadcasters have agreed to hold a joint telethon titled Help Gaza to raise funds for the Palestinians suffering under the recent Israeli aggression in Gaza.

At a meeting organized by the Broadcasters Lobby Group today, senior representatives of local media outlets agreed to run the telethon from 2:30 p.m. on Friday until 12:00 a.m. on Sunday. They also decided on details of the shows and teams to be assigned for different segments.

The telethon will carry the hashtag #HelpGazaMv.
