Protest concluded following agreement regarding year-end bonus

The protest by the staff of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), operator of Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA), has come to an end after the two parties involved managed to reach an agreement regarding the distribution of year-end bonus.

The protest, which re-commenced this morning at 8:00 a.m., was concluded after the staff met with Managing Director of MACL Bandhu Ibrahim Saleem, who promised to ensure that the bonus is distributed more evenly.

According to the Sun Online reporter at the airport, Saleem said that a decision will be made regarding the bonus this afternoon, following which details will be provided to the media.
