Man injured in group assault in Male

A young man has been injured in a group assault near City Council in Male’.

Sun Online reporter at the scene said that the victim was stabbed in the head close to his left ear, and has been taken on a police vehicle to the hospital.

The Spokesperson of the Police told Sun Online moments ago that the victim, a 27-year-old man, has been taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for treatment.

He did not suffer any serious injuries, said the police spokesperson.

No one has been arrested in relation to this assault.
