President nominates Zahira as Deputy Governor of MMA

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has nominated Aishath Zahira for the post of Deputy Governor of Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) for a second term, and submitted her name to the parliament for approval.

This comes ahead of the end of Zahira’s first term on 1 July 2014, as Deputy Governor of MMA.
