British High Commissioner calls on Parliament Speaker

British High Commissioner to the Maldives John Rankin has called on Speaker of Parliament Abdulla Maseeh.

The meeting was held at the Parliament Building today.

The Parliament Secretariat said that during the meeting, Speaker Maseeh and High Commissioner Rankin discussed bilateral relations between Maldives and United Kingdom, and exchanged views facilitating inter-parliamentary cooperative ties between the two countries.

The High Commissioner also congratulated Maseeh on his election as Speaker of the 18th Parliament.
