City Park, Fini Park transferred to Housing Ministry

Two recreational parks in Male’, City Park and Fini Park, have been transferred from Male’ City Council to the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure, as per a decision by the Cabinet of Ministers on 25 March.

Housing Ministry said in a statement that the lands were revoked after Male’ City Council breached the handover agreements.

The statement advices the public to deal with the Ministry in any future correspondences regarding the two public parks and to inform the Ministry of any recent communications regarding the parks to the Ministry by 26 June.

City park has two private restaurants and Fini Park has a similar establishment under construction.
