Abdul Shukoor of Kaamineepool has been appointed the Managing Director (MD) of State Electric Company (STELCO). Shukooor was appointed to replace Hassan Mughnee, who held the post on a Jumhoory Party (JP) slot.
A government official has confirmed Shukoor’s appointment to Sun Online. President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom proposed Shukoor’s name to Privatization and Corporatization Board for review on Saturday.
