Expat commits suicide in Thilafushi

An Indian expatriate worker has committed suicide in the industrial island of Thilafushi.

Police said the suicide was reported around 9:40 p.m. on Monday night and that the man was found hanging inside his quarters in Thilafushi.

The Indian national was first discovered by his coworkers, who said they started looking for him after he was not seen for two days.
