Police have said that 21 people have been fined for driving taxis without licence.
Police have also fined 13 taxis for having tinted window, during an operation between 16 and 18 May to identify violations of the new Taxi Regulation.
Police said that 156 people have been fined since the enforcement of the new Taxi Regulation.
This includes 49 people who were fined for not displaying the taxi licence, 16 people who were fined for expired taxi licences, and four people who were fined for expired driving licences.
Police said that only one person had been penalised so far for failing to install the light-up vacancy board on his taxi, while three people had been fined for failing to pay the annual fee and driving without the taxi permit.
