President dismisses Falah from JSC, appoints Faisal

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has dismissed Shamsul Falah and appointed Mohamed Faisal to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

President Yameen presented the letter of appointment to Mohamed Faisal today at a ceremony held at the President’s Office, the office said in a press statement today.

Mohamed Faisal was the secretary general of the People’s Alliance, a political party founded by President Yameen in 2008 and later dissolved.

President Abdulla Yameen appointed Shamsul Falah to JSC on 28 November, soon after the president’s inauguration.
