14-year-old rape victim gives birth to second child

A 14-year-old girl believed to be the victim of rape has given birth to her second child.

Sun Online is aware that the girl gave birth for the first time - also the result of rape by a trusted individual - when she was 12 years old. The second baby, delivered a few days ago, is believed to be the result of rape, but a person responsible for the abuse has not been identified.

An individual from the girl’s family is reportedly taking care of the two babies. The babies are said to be struggling and weak.

When prompted by Sun Online for information on the under aged girl who give birth for a second time as a result of rape, Ministry of Health and Gender said they cannot discuss individual cases with the media and that the appropriate persons will be provided the necessary information if requested through writing.
