Three arrested for two muggings in Male'

Three individuals have been arrested over two muggings in the capital Male’.

Two men of ages 23 and 29 were arrested around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday near Baker’s Fantasy in Fareedhee Magu, moments after they mugged a mobile phone from a foreign worker. Both men have records of mugging, assault and narcotics, said the police.

Another 23-year-old man was arrested around 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday for mugging a man’s wallet on a street in Male’.
