Medical camp begins in Guraidhoo

A medical camp organized by the Maldivian Medical Association has kicked off in Kaafu Guraidhoo today.

Guraidhoo council president Hussain Yameen Mohamed told Sun that doctors from six specialties will see patients at the one-day camp that began this morning.

“A pediatrician, a gynecologist, a surgeon, a physician, a dermatologist and a psychiatrist are participating in the camp,” Yameen said.

Patients can consult doctors free of charge at island’s health post for the duration of the camp. The doctors will also see patients at the Home for People with Special Needs in Guraidhoo.
