Criminal Court has given detention periods of 10 days for each of the 78 people arrested by police on Friday night on suspicion of partying and using drugs.
Police arrested 79 people in total including a girl below the age of 18, and no information has been received regarding her detention period.
The first to be taken in to Criminal Court last night (Saturday night) for detention period hearings were the 19 women.
After the women, the 59 men were taken into court in groups.
The lawyer who attended the detention period hearings said that only some of the men and women had tested positive for drugs.
Police said that the 59 men included a foreigner.
The hearings to give the suspects detention periods started at 9:15 p.m., and ended at 1:00 a.m.
Police said that they raided Anbaraa, an uninhabited island, on Friday night with a court warrant following information collected by Police Intelligence. In addition to the arrests, police also found large amounts of drugs and money in the island.
