Elderly man in ICU following accident in Maradhoo

An elderly man is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Hithadhoo Regional Hospital following an accident in Maradhoo, Addu City this evening.

A senior official of Hithadhoo Regional Hospital told Sun Online that the victim is 69-year-old Hassan Naseer, who had suffered a serious head injury

The official said that doctors have advised to take him to Male’ for treatment.

A source from Maradhoo told Sun Online that Naseer was entering his home on his motorcycle when he was hit by a speeding motorcycle going towards Hithadhoo.

The person driving the speeding motorcycle suffered minor injuries.

A 57-year-old man died while undergoing treatment at the hospital following an accident in Hithadhoo, Addu City, on Thursday night.
