MNDF officer suffers serious injuries in accident in Addu

An officer of Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has been seriously injured in an accident in Hithadhoo, Addu City.

The accident took place at around 7:30 p.m. when two motorcycles collided on Bodu Magu in Hithadhoo. Both motorcycles were carrying two people.

Police said that one person on the passenger seat suffered a serious head injury, and is being treated at Hithadhoo Hospital.

Police also said that the person who suffered the head injury is in critical condition, but the other people involved in the accident did not suffer any serious injuries.

Sun Online has come to know that the victim who suffered serious injuries in the accident is senior officer at MNDF Southern Area, Riffathullah.
