The police has been summoned to the Parliament Privileges Committee, for information on the investigation of the stabbing of Feydhoo MP Alhan Fahmy.
Maafannu Uthuru MP Imthiyaz Fahmy, who filed the case to the committee, told Sun Online that a police officer has been requested to attend the committee at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday for questioning regarding this matter.
He said that the committee did not request for any specific police officer.
Alhan is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Sri Lanka after being stabbed on the night of 1 February.
Police have arrested two individuals, Mohamed Sameeh and Mohamed Naseem in relation to this case.
