Criminal Court has extended the periods of detention for the two suspects arrested over the stabbing of Feydhoo MP Alhan Fahmy, by 15 days.
The police said that the detention periods were extended by 15 days at the end of the initial 10-days given by the court.
The two suspects are Mohamed Sameeh and Mohamed Naseem.
This case is under investigation by Maldives Police Service.
MP Alhan Fahmy is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Sri Lanka after being stabbed on the night of 1 February.
