Government coalition's Henveyru North ticket granted to former PPM Council Member Maaz Saleem

The government coalition's Henveyru North ticket has been given to former Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) Council Member Ahmed Saleem (Maaz), for the upcoming parliamentary election.

Saleem told Sun Online that he was informed last night, that he had been given the Jumhooree Party (JP) ticket to run for Henveyru North seat.

He said that there is great support for him in this constituency.

The only other Male’ constituency ticket given to JP by the coalition is Maafannu North; the rest have been given to PPM.
