President appoints Registrar of Companies

President Yameen Abdul Gayoom has appointed Maryam Visam of Galolhu Saima as Registrar of Companies.

The President’s Office said that this appointment was made at Deputy Minister level.

Visam holds a Master’s Degree in Business Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management. Prior to being appointed Registrar of Companies, Visam held the post of Director General at Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA). She has also acted as Manager and Deputy Manager at CMDA.
