JP to grant tickets to MPs Ahmed Sameer and Mohamed Hussain

The Council of Jumhooree Party (JP) has decided to give the party’s tickets to sitting MPs, Dhidhdhoo MP Ahmed Sameer and Kanditheem MP Mohamed Hussain for the upcoming Parliamentary Election.

A JP Council Member told Sun Online that this decision was passed at a Council meeting last night.

He said that the two MPs have not yet joined JP, and that the tickets will be given as soon as they sign the membership forms.

MP Sameer won Dhidhdhoo seat on MDP ticket, and MP Mohamed Hussain won Kanditheem seat on DRP ticket at the last Parliamentary Election.

MP Sameer submitted the form to contest in the MDP Primary for the Parliamentary Election, but has since withdrawn his application.
