President appoints Commissioner of Prisons, Deputy Minister at Home Affairs

President Abdulla Yameen has today appointed Moosa Azim as the new Commission of Prisons at the Maldives Correctional Service.

Prior to his appointment, Azim held the post of Superintendent at the Maldives Correctional Service. Azim has a career in punitory services and has undergone trainings conducted by Australia’s Department of Correctional Services.

President Yameen also appointed Abdulla Ahmed today as the Deputy Minister for Ministry of Home Affairs.
