Qatar Airways launches "New Year New Journeys" promotion

Qatar Airways has launched a three-day global sale titled New Year, New Journeys offering customers up to a 30 percent discount on Economy Class and Premium cabin fares.

The sale, which started on 20 January and ends on 22 January midnight, offers customers the opportunity to travel to a variety of destinations across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas. However, blackout dates apply from July 24 to September 13, said the airline.

The travel period offers passengers flexibility giving customers who purchase tickets an 11-month window, until 17 December 2014, to complete their travel.

According to the airline, both the Economy and Premium fares qualify for frequent flyer points and the accumulated mileage can be redeemed on any oneworld carrier.

Qatar Airways has been in operation for 17 years and currently flies a fleet of 129 aircraft to 134 business and leisure destinations across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and The Americas.
