President appoints four members to Employment Tribunal

President Yameen Abdul Gayoom has appointed four members to the Employment Tribunal.

The newly appointed members are Idrees Ismail, Abdulla Ali, Maryam Shamma Ibrahim, and Areef Ahmed Naseer.

President Yameen presented the letter of appointment to the appointees at a ceremony held at the President’s Office.

Before the presentation of the letter of appointment, the members took the oath of membership of Employment Tribunal. The oath was administered by Supreme Court Judge Abdulla Areef.

Speaking at the ceremony, President Yameen urged the newly appointed members to expedite processing of cases filed to the Employment Tribunal, and assured the government’s cooperation in these efforts.
