The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has scheduled the issue of suspending Supreme Court Judge Ali Hameed, following the leak of a sex video involving him some months ago, for 15 January 2014.
This has been confirmed to Sun Online by a member of JSC, who said that the issue was tabled about a week ago.
The committee established by the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) to investigate the allegations against Supreme Court Judge Ali Hameed passed unanimously earlier to suspend the judge, following which the decision was forwarded to the commission.
A sex video of Judge Hameed was leaked several months ago on social media. The case is also under investigation by the police.
Concerns have been raised by members of the judicial sector following the delay in taking any action against Judge Hameed.
