Dr Aishath Muneeza appointed Deputy Ministry of Islamic Affairs

Dr Aishath Muneeza has been appointed as Deputy Minister of Islamic Affairs.

In a tweet today, Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed congratulated Dr Muneeza, the first female Deputy Minister of Islamic Affairs.

Dr Muneeza holds a PhD in Islamic Economics.

She has previously served as the Chairman of Alia’s Sharia Committee.
