Defence Minister signs for PPM

Minister of Defence and National Security Colonel (Rtd) Mohamed Nazim has signed for the governing Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) today.

Nazim made the announcement via a tweet in which he stated: “Given the fact that PPM is the most democratic party in the Maldives, I have officially signed to PPM on this unique date 11/12/13.”

Nazim also held the Defence Minister post during the last administration and was occasionally seen from President Yameen’s rallies during the presidential campaign.
