Passport service hours changed

The Department of Immigration and Emigration has decided to change its hours for passport services.

The department said that from next month, passport application forms can be submitted between 8.30 a.m. and 1.00 p.m., and passports can be collected between 1.00 p.m. and 2.30 p.m.

The department said that passports for application forms submitted between 8.30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. can be collected after 3.00 p.m. on the same day.

If the forms are submitted after 9.30 a.m., the passports can be collected after 1.00 p.m. on the following day.

Queue numbers for passport collection will be available between 1.00 p.m. and 2.30 p.m., said the Department of Immigration and Emigration.
