Farish Maumoon appointed Minister of State for Economic Development

Ahmed Farish Maumoon, son of former president Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, has been appointed the Minister of State for Economic Development.

President’s Office spokesperson Ibrahim Muaz Ali did not give a confirmation and said the appointment has not been officially communicated the press department.

A senior government official told Sun that the appointment was made yesterday.
