Maria Ali appointed as undersecretary

President Nasheed appoints Ms. Maria Ali as the undersecretary of the office of the president.

Ms. Maria Ali was previously the deputy minister of the Ministry of Health and Family. And she is the daughter of Malé city mayor Mr. Maizaan Ali Manik.

Ms. Maria Ali's father, Maizan Alibe was elected few days back as new Mayor following the resignation of Adam “Sarangu” Manik from the office only a few months after the latter was elected as the first Mayor of the capital city.
