265 individuals apply for parliament security officer post

A total of 265 individuals have applied for the post of security officer, for security maintenance at the parliament.

A member of the Parliament General Committee told Sun Online today that following the announcement regarding the search for 100 security officers by the parliament, 265 applications were received by Monday.

In the announcement, the parliament said that applicants for the post of security officer should have served MNDF at private rank. The monthly salary for this post is MVR 10,750, with a service allowance of MVR 3,500, and attendance allowance of MVR 100 per attendance.

Applications were also welcomed last Thursday for the post of Deputy Sergeant-at-Arm, and the parliament said that eleven applications have been received for this post.

The requirement for this post is experience as MNDF Warrant Officer Grade 2, and the parliament said that priority will be given to applicants with experience. The monthly salary for this post is MVR 20,000, with service allowance of MVR 3,500 and attendance allowance of MVR 100 per attendance.

Also, 23 individuals applied for the post of Assistant Sergeant-at-Arms. The requirement for this post is experience as Sergeant at MNDF. The parliament said that successful candidate will be given a monthly salary of MVR 15,950, service allowance of MVR 3,500 and attendance allowance of MVR 100 per attendance.
