Elections Commission (EC) has said that the commission will continue accepting re-registration forms, regardless of the current break of their computer system.
An official from the commission told Sun that they are currently issuing an “offline slip” during the breakdown and that an official slip will be issued, in exchange for the offline splip, once the system is restored.
The 24-hour re-registration period expired at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Elections Commission earlier revealed that they were able to process 20,000 re-registration up until noon today (Sunday).
