Two more military officers suspended

Two more officers of the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) have been suspended for propagating discord in the military.

The two suspended officers are Sergeant First Class Ali Waheed and Lance Corporal Shahrab Rashid.

MNDF said that they were suspended under Article (a) of Chapter 4 of the MNDF Employment Regulation.

MNDF further said that Ali Waheed was suspended for propagating discord in the military, while Shahrab Rashid was suspended for sharing military information with outside groups without permission.

Yesterday, First Lieutenant Abdulla Shareef was also suspended for propagating discord within the institution.
