Elections Commission has decided to place a ballot box in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the second round of the presidential elections to be held on the 28th of September.
The Commission announced today that they have decided to place a ballot box in Riyadh to facilitate voting for the large number of Maldivian Hajj pilgrims who will be in the city on polling day.
The Commission also stated that those who wish to vote from Saudi Arabia need to submit the appropriate documents before the 15th this month.
The number
The Riyadh ballot box, designated number W06.1.1, is to be placed in the Embassy of the Republic of Maldives in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sulaimaniya, in Riyadh.
Elections Commission placed ballot boxes in Trivandrum, New Delhi, Colombo, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and London for the first round of polling on 7th September.
