Aslam Shakir resigns from MDP president

Aslam Shakir who was appointed on 13th June, as the special envoy for MDP president Dr. Ibrahim Didi (Didi) has resigned from the post.

MDP reports that he resigned from the post through an email sent to Dr. Didi.

According to MDP, Mr. Aslam Shakir has stated the reason for his resignation in that email saying that he needs more time to fulfill the responsibilities of his post in the government. He is the minister of state for Foreign Affairs.

He has thanked Dr. Didi in that email for appointing him as the special envoy.
