Young man dies after falling from building

A young man has died after falling from the second floor of a building in Maafannu.

Police said that Mohamed Aish Yousuf, 19, fell from the second floor of his house, M. Vilufushi. Police said that the incident happened around 3:43 am last night and that the doctors informed them that Aish Yousuf was already dead when he reached Indira Gandhi Memorial Hosptail (IGMH).

Police Media Official said that the cause of the incident in yet unclear.

The impact had fractured the young man’s skull from the left side of his head, Police said, and that they have been told that the head injury was the cause of death.

IGMH was unreachable for comment at the time of press.
