Foreigner stabbed in Addu City

A foreigner has been stabbed in Hithadhoo, Addu City.

Police revealed that the person stabbed was a 26-year-old Bangladeshi man.

They said that the incident occurred around 10:50pm last night in front of a restaurant in Link Road in Hithadhoo. The foreigner was stabbed in the back, they said.

The man was treated from Hithadhoo Regional Hospital and released sometime this morning. Police said they are searching for the people involved in the stabbing.
