Maldivian receives Airline Reliability Performance Award

Maldivian, the national airline managed by Island Aviation Services, has received the Airlines Reliability Performance Award for Outstanding Dispatch Reliability 2012 in the Asia category, an award by Canadian multinational aerospace and transportation company, Bombardier Inc.

The award was presented to Island Aviation Services during Bombardier’s inaugural All Series European Regional Review held in Munich, Germany.

According to Island Aviation Services, the Airline Reliability Performance Award is presented to the airline that holds their dispatch reliability at the 99 percent mark, with a minimum of technical faults throughout the year.

Island Aviation Services noted that it was a great privilege to be chosen for such an award, especially from a pool of competitors in the Asia region that fly Dash 8 model aircrafts.
