Ferry prices to increase in north central province

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has decided to increase the prices of ferry tickets in the north central province.

MTCC said in an announcement today that the prices of tickets for ferries in the north central province will be increased from 3 July 2013.

MTCC said that the price of ferry tickets in the regions of Kaafu Dhiffushi, Kaashidhoo, Alif Alif Thoddoo, Alif Alif Himendhoo, Alif Dhaalu Mandhoo, Alif Dhaalu Fenfushi, Vaavu Rakeedhoo and Guraidhoo will be increased from MVR 22 to MVR 30.

MTCC further said that the price of tickets of ferries between those regions and Male’ will be increased from MVR 53 to MVR 70.
