Wataniya introduces 4G package aimed at businesses

Wataniya has introduced a 4G package ‘wNet 4G’, aimed at businesses, for Male’ region.

Speaking at a press conference today, Wataniya’s Senior Specialist PR Marketing Communication Mariyam Ahmed Didi said that the fee of this package, which caters to small and medium businesses, is MVR 1,999 per month. She said that customers will get a 24 GB data allowance and a 4G router free with this service.

“The 4G package introduced today under the Wataniya for business portfolio is aimed at small and medium businesses that need super-fast speed,” Mariyam said.

Speaking at the press conference, Wataniya’s Head of Marketing Aishath Zamra Zahir said that the new package will facilitate fast internet services.

Wataniya was the first to introduce 4G network service in the Maldives. Wataniya’s 3G network is capable of speeds up to 14.4 Mbps, while their 4G network can go up to 100 Mbps.
