Person stabbed in Sinamale

A person has been stabbed inside the Sinmale’ compound tonight.

A police media official revealed that the 17 year old man injured in the incident is now being treated in Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

The official said that the incident was reported to the police at 10:21 pm and that the stabbing occurred during a brawl between two men.

The extent of the 17-year-old's injuries is yet unclear.

Police have restricted the area from the public and a forensics team is also active at the scene.
