PPM Spokesperson Mahloof resigns from post

Galolhu-South MP Ahmed Mahloof has resigned from his post as the Spokesperson for the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM).

Mahloof has confirmed his resignation to Sun via SMS. Reason for his resignation is not yet clear, as he is not answering calls.

An official from PPM told Sun today that Mahloof has not officially notified the party of his resignation, but said that their office has also received an SMS from Mahloof, expressing his intent to resign.

Mahloof is a well-known personality that plays a key role within the party.
