Ahmed Moosa and Sarangu Adam Manik join President Waheed

Kurendhoo MP Ahmed Moosa and Male’ City Council Member Sarangu Adam Manik have signed to join President Dr Mohamed Waheed’s Gaumee Itthihad Party (GIP).

In addition to them, Thimarafushi MP Ahmed Shareef also officially joined GIP at a ceremony held at Dharubaaruge by the party tonight.

Shareef had earlier announced that he had joined GIP.

Jausha Jaufar Eesa, who previously held Haa Alif seat at the parliament, also joined GIP tonight.

Shareef was a member of Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) before he joined GIP. Shareef left PPM following accusations that some members of PPM tried to stop the Thimarafushi airport project.

Kurendhoo MP Ahmed Moosa was previously a member of Jumhooree Party (JP). He left JP about one year ago.
