President Waheed congratulates Nawaz Sharif

President Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik has sent a message of congratulations to the Pakistani Prime Minister, Mr. Nawaz Sharif, on his assumption of office for a third consecutive term as the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

In his message, the President said that people of Maldives joins him in conveying a warm congratulations to the Pakistani Prime Minister for assuming office for a third consecutive term and that he is confident that Pakistan will attain greater prosperity and development and continue to play a key role in the affairs of the region under his leadership.

The President also extended his best wishes for the Prime Minister’s good health and well-being and for the peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Pakistan.
