Police apprehend prostitutes from a house in Henveyru

Police have apprehended two people engaged in prostitution from a house in Henveyru ward yesterday.

Police said that two Bangladeshi nationals, one 19-year-old male and a 25-year-old female was arrested from a house in Henveury ward yesterday. They were caught naked, the police say.

The two people were arrested around 1:30 yesterday afternoon from H. Kandufinige, Lonuziyaaraimagu, located opposite Shaheed Ali Mosque.

Police have not said whether they ceased any money from the crime scene.
