Tourist diver injured after hitting boat

A tourist vacationing in Reethi Beach Resort has suffered serious leg injuries today after her legs hit the propeller of a boat while diving.

The incident happened around 11:00 am this morning.

The German woman who arrived on Reethi Beach Resort on the 27th of last month came to the Maldives on her honeymoon.

The woman has been transported to the capital Male’ for further medical treatment.

Sun has come to know that the injuries to her legs were extensive.
