Three missing divers found

The three divers who went missing while diving near Vaavu Alimatha Resort yesterday have been found.

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) said that a speedboat from Alimatha Resort picked up the three individuals today. They said that resort has stated that all three individuals are in good health.

The three people were reported missing after they went for a dive to Bolikey Faru, a reef to the north Alimatha Resort.

The resort told Sun Online today that the three divers were picked up not too far from the resort around 09:00 last night and that they had suffered no injuries.

The divers who went missing are two tourists from Dubai and a dive instructor from Italy.
