Hulhumale

It has been decided that the classes of Hulhumale’ Preschool will be conducted at Lale International School located in Hulhumale’, after the preschool was destroyed in a fire this morning.

The principal of the preschool, which is run by a private group, met with the parents of the preschool students following the fire this morning, and informed that classes will be conducted at Lale School until Hulhumale’ School can be restored.

He thanked Lale School for their cooperation.

No one was hurt in the fire incident, which left the classrooms and the office of Hulhumale’ School destroyed beyond use.

At a meeting held with the parents of Hulhumale’ Preschool today, Male’ City Council Member Maizan Ali Manik said that the council had decided to work towards obtaining funds for repairing Hulhumale’ Preschool. He said that a box will be placed today, to raise funds in this regard.
