Economic Ministry invites Expression of Interest for establishment of hospital in Hulhumale

The Ministry of Economic Development has made an announcement inviting Expression of Interest documents for the planning, financing, development and operation of an international standard, multi-specialty hospital in Hulhumale’.

The ministry said that it had decided to commission the project to plan, finance, develop and operate an international standard, multi-specialty hospital in Hulhumale’, to a private group for 25 years.

The ministry said that parties interested in carrying out this project, as well as the operation of a medical college, are welcome to submit their Expression of Interest documents.

The ministry said that the purpose of this project is to provide modern, multi-specialty health services to the people of Maldives, as well as to foreigners living in Maldives and tourists visiting Maldives.

The Expression of Interest document can be downloaded from the ministry’s website, and the deadline for submitting the document is 1 July 2013.
