Foreign national found dead in house in Male

A foreign national has been found dead in a house in Male’ today.

A police media official said that a 54-year-old Indian national was found in a room on the first floor of Ma. Vaadhooge, and that no injuries were visible on his body.

“Investigations so far have not revealed any injuries on his body. However at this stage, we can’t comment on the cause of death,” he said.

The police said that the case is under investigation.

Meanwhile, two Maldivians were also found dead in houses in Male’ last week.
